Z = x^3+x^3 y^3-2y^2 di titik (2,1,4).
Jawab:
Persamaan bidang singgung grafik z = f(x,y) di titik P(x_0,y_(0,) z_0) adalah
Z = z_0+ f_x(x_0,y_0) (x-x_0 )+f_y(x_0,y_0) (y-y_0 )
Maka:
f_x(x_0,y_0)=3x^2+3x^2 y^3
f_x(1,1)=12+ 12 = 24
Dan
f_y(x_0,y_0)=3y^2 x^3-4y
f_y(1,1)=24-4=20
Sehingga: Persamaan bidang singgung grafik Z = 2x^2+y^2 di titik (2,1,4) adalah
Z = z_0+ f_x(x_0,y_0) (x-x_0 )+f_y(x_0,y_0) (y-y_0 )
Z = 4+ 24 (x-2)+20 (y-1)
Z = 4+24x-48+20y-20
Z = 24 x+20y-64

Maka:
f_x(x_0,y_0)=4x
f_x(1,1)=4
Dan
f_y(x_0,y_0)=2y
f_y(1,1)=2
Sehingga: Persamaan bidang singgung grafik Z = 2x^2+y^2 di titik (1,1,3) adalah
Z = z_0+ f_x(x_0,y_0) (x-x_0 )+f_y(x_0,y_0) (y-y_0 )
Z = 3+ 4 (x-1)+2 (y-1)
Z = 3+ 4 x-4+2y-2
Z = 4 x+2y-3
